All Confirmation Candidates are required to complete 18 hours of community service. All service hours MUST be completed thirty (30) days prior to the Confirmation Mass. The hours must be fulfilled as follows:
6 hours of service with a St. Luke Ministry (i.e: Room at the Inn)
6 hours of service to the Family (babysitting, cleaning, yard work, etc.)
6 hours of service to the local community (this includes school/club/scouts/church)
All service hours sheets must be signed by the adult/leader coordinating the service project. The candidate fills out the information, the parent signs to acknowledge hours are complete.
Example: 3 hours...Boy Scout Food Drive...must be signed by Scout leader, not parent.
REMEMBER!!!! NO SIGNATURE/NO CREDIT FOR SERVICE
